Arts Showcase
We are thrilled to announce the Derby IDPwD Arts Showcase! This is a chance to celebrate and promote the incredible talent in our community. Share your creativity!
Open to all Kimberley people living with disability. Paintings, drawings, photography, sculpture, mixed media, or other visual art are all welcome.
We do ask that pieces are under 1200mm x 1200mm in dimensions.
Up to 3 artworks per artist.
Artworks can be listed for sale during the event.
Finished works must be delivered by 28th November to Far North Offices in either Broome (Office 5, Kimberley Regional Offices, 29 Napier Terrace), or Derby (68 Clarendon Street) with a completed Arts Showcase form (download below).
Terms and conditions
By submitting an entry, the Artist acknowledges that they understand the terms and conditions below:
The Artist voluntarily agrees to submit artwork to and participate in the event scheduled to take place on 3rd December, 2024 at Derby Airport. The Artist acknowledges that participation in this event is voluntary and understands the nature of the event showcase.
The Artist acknowledges that the transportation, display, and exhibition of artwork in the event venue may carry certain inherent risks, including theft, loss, damage, or destruction of artwork. The Artist assumes full responsibility for these risks during all phases of the event, including during setup, exhibition, and removal of artwork.
The Artist hereby releases and forever discharges the Organisers, affiliates, and related entities or individuals (“Released Parties”) from any and all claims, demands, or causes of action arising out of or related to the Artist’s participation in the Showcase. This release include: Theft, damage, or destruction of artwork, Loss or damage occurring during transportation, installation, exhibition, or removal of artwork, Any personal injury or property damage incurred in connection with participation in the event.
The Artist agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the Organizer and all Released Parties from and against any and all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs, and expenses (including attorney’s fees) arising out of or related to the Artist’s participation in the Showcase.
The Artist understands that the organisers do not provide insurance coverage for the Artist’s artwork. The Artist is solely responsible for insuring their artwork, if desired.
The Artist understands that while reasonable care will be taken in handling and displaying artwork, the Organisers cannot guarantee the safety or security of the artwork throughout the event. The Organisers reserves the right to display the artwork at its discretion and in a manner deemed suitable for the event.
